Our Instructors & Staff Members

Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of Taekwondo and other martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors.

Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students. Here are a few of Dragons Path Academy instructors and other staff members.

Master Edwin Castro

KwanJaNim began his studies in 1978 with Grand Master Reno Morales at the west farms center in the bronx, KwanJaNim has had intensive training with numerous instructors such as Master Duk Sun (ITF Federation), Master John Chung (GM ITF Tae Kwon Do), Master Anthony Vargas (5th Dan Hwa Rang Do, Tan Soo Do, Kumdo, Bo Staff), Grand Master Tong Ung Lee (10th Dan Korea Hapkido USA Association), Gm John Pellegrini (9th Dan Combat Hapkido)Master Sonny Mahai (6th Dan WTF Tae Kwon Do), GM Khang Rhee (9th Dan World Black Belt Bureau). KwanJaNim holds a 7th Dan Black Belt in the ITF system under GM Khang Rhee, and 3rd Dan in the Hapkido system under GM Tong Ung Lee.
